Bikers' Banter

Been announced that all pubs should close as of now................however, in the same announcement it say's restaurants can stay open until 1am if they only run at 70% capacity.
Now as 90% of the pubs are indeed restaurants it ain't going to make any difference to us. AND 1am closing, well even new years eve i was in bed before then.
Phoned a bar we are using here to ask what they are doing under the new restrictions? "as normal sir".
Mad innit.

The thing I've missed most this winter is the Sunday roast in a pub with my local bike forum mates. Even if we have to use cars it's still great to get together. Every other Sunday with Sunday cafe breakfast meets on the other Sundays.
Lucky we ride out all summer instead. We'd be even fatter if we ate out all year round

In a cracking pub last night 5 mins walk from where we are staying, called Lah Lah's. All mod and mod and weird.
The Stella was spot on

I went to the pub on Saturday.

They do takeaway food. Pre-booked. Had to be there at 17:55. Waited outside, got the fish & chips, then walked back home
