It’s been bleddy cold here.
Years ago I stopped riding when it was below 5°, so the ninja is sat in the garage.
Yesterday I saw the Spanish news and realised why it was so cold. Madrid has ground to a halt due to the worst snow in 50 years.

Still got ice on the pool, but I think it will be gone today or tomorrow. Never seen it like this before.
4 days without hot water was a challenge!
Plumber rocked up at 7pm and put in a new one

I run out of water quite often in the winter. The water comes from the farm house some way along the lane. through a field and finally through a drain pipe that comes across a dyke, under water.
Every year my neighbour used to plough it up, stop work to repair it and then I had to take most of the taps apart to clear the mud, silt and rust out before everything was back to normal for the rest of the year. The operation used to take several hours and each time my neighbour swore he'd get round to relaying the pipe. Nothing came of it for 13 years but, eventually, a new pipe was laid along the field edge and we were all very pleased and excited that the job had been done at last.
And now, every winter, the pipe freezes and I run out of water. I have mentioned it once or twice and confidently expect the problem will be resolved some time within the next ten years.
At least it's just a matter of patience and not anything that needs mending. The joys of the country cottage.

That will be like our water pipes, laid on the surface with a hint of cover!
In the winter the cold water is about 3°, in the summer we don’t even need the hot tap to take a shower
