Don’t apologise.

On Sunday my boss’s mother in law died of covid.

I’m lucky I got home when I did, but fook knows how or when I’m going to be able to get back to work.

We’re as all doomed I tell you. Doomed.

I'm so glad that you made it home for Christmas. :) You have to have the best one ever, to make up for the rest of us.

It's going to be a bit strange, here on my own. Even my hens are having to stay inside their house with the bird flu quarantine happening.

Plenty of stuff in the freezer and veg. in the garden. I even have sprouts out there. I wish I'd grown a lot more lettuce in the greenhouse though. Looks as if I'd be able to go into business after the holiday as there'll be no fresh food in the shops.
I hope there won't be vegetable rustling. Hadn't thought of that

Is it against the law to shoot vegans?

I might have a better idea. What if I hang a turkey carcass above my gate. Maybe it will ward gangs of starving vegans off my property. A bit like garlic and vampires....

I don't thing there is a specific law against shooting Vegans but there is a law regarding hanging carcases in your garden.

I'm quite relieved really. I'd hate to waste a carcass. Turkey broth. Oh, yum! :)

I’ve seen an old cow in our bath but she doesn’t like me calling her that. 😁
