You wont be making sandcastles on that beach eh. Them chips sound and look special good.
So you do this wild camping/motorhome thing??? Any problems re power supply or does your solar/ leisure batteries suffice. We have not done any wild camping yet, always gone to a site with EHU.

It's fine for a few days and nights as we have two extra batteries on top of the standard Leisure one, The extra two are being constantly topped up by the Solar Panel but most MH's are now being fitted with one small 120 watt panel to help keep the standard batteries topped up whereas this set up is independent so we get much more flexibility for living Off Grid. The biggest issue for me though is the Toilet capacity which is not good for more than a couple of days unless you can dispose of it properly, I think I'll get another cassette as a back up. i've also learned not to pour washing up stuff down the sink as the waste tank can give off a wiff when driving about so no curry or other strong smelling waste goes down the hole ! The only other issue is where to park up.... It's a bit scary when you wake up at stupid oclock when a car pulls up beside you......

at about 2 AM a couple of Fishermen turned up.... they weren't quiet as they kitted up but off they went and they stood on the Rocks shown in the first pic whilst the Sea came in and out again all the while being battered by the wind and rain.... 6 hours all told and they didn't catch a thing !!!! Beer Battered Chips bought from the local Co-Op....... very nice they were too.

We have only one leisure battery (don;t know how strong it is as i don't understand this amp/watt/megs/kilawat blah blah) i do know that there is a switch in the cab that i can switch the solar panel to leisure battery or engine battery.
We did a bit of wild in the past years and agree it can be a bit scary.

It's not as bad as hiding in a bunch of bushes under a tarp though !!!!!

The other great thing about Wild Camping is that it doesn't cost anything.......... a couple of weeks on a site can cost up to £400 and I'm not too cool with paying all that !

Where is your special place, Nev? It looks familiar. A good picture. I can almost feel the rain and wind.
