Sold my Rover 25
180,000 kms
One lady owner from new
No dents!
When I say ‘sold’, pretty much gave it away. Just covered the cost of it’s MOT, and the buyer is paying the transfer fee.
Quite sad really. I paid £3,500 for it, so it didn’t owe me anything.
Chris’s face was a picture when we caught up last year ; you’ve still got that!!

So you are not into classic cars then...................or vintage.
Never experienced selling a car i have own for years and years as i have never owned one for that long.
I'm sure it's got a few ITVs left in it.

Wife had Peugeot 306 a few years ago which had 265,000 miles on the clock and to be honest we never looked after it properly with me doing the basic servicing . Even with 'er indoors driving it every day there were no dents or scratches on it , started every time and pretty much indestructible . When we eventually thought it was time to get rid , WeBuyAnyCar offered us £0 (nothing) for it , it went to the scrap yard and got £80 . Few months later I saw it in the local town with some young kid driving it . I really wanted to go and ask how much he paid for it and how it was running .

I know my cars. Your, your good lady's that went to the scrapper would be worth £2,800 min.
Only Kidding. Are you sure it was a Peugeot????? and are you sure the . was in the right place on the mileage. A frog car doing 265.000 ks, neigh miles. You must be a bloody good service man.

As I said Bob , this car was indestructible and we only kept it to see how long it would last after it had done a quarter of a million miles . Oil change and the very basics were done , never going to pay garage money on it .
Strange how I also remember the reg number on that one (V61 ETH) even though I don't know any of our current vehicles .
