Well, the last few days riding around our new manor i convinced myself this daft RT is not the bike for these roads. Keep it for the A and M roads.
So, after looking and liking 1. Kawasaki Z900 (new retro thing). 2. A another that's not important i decided i wanted the new Honda CB1100 RS.
So, debit card in hand i sent 3 e-mails to 3 different Honda dealers to contact that i wanted to buy a bike, (i hate dealing with them face to face and all the shit they spout treating you like a effing idiot).
In the e-mail i clearly stated what i wanted.
Not one reply. Is it me???
So f--k em they can keep the new bikes. I will continue to suffer with this heap of shit.
Rant over (just realised, wrong thread)

I don’t think that many people buy bikes via email, unless they’re from Nigeria.
Ring them up, check if they’ve got what you want, then go in!
My brother works at a bike dealership - want his number?

Brid, i have been in, i have talked to the sales person's. Some don't seem to be interested. Maybe cause it's an old pensioner in front of em, don't know.
Some ad's advise you to contact "by e-mail", i did.
The Gold Wing i bought a few years ago was all done by e-mail and it was delivered to my door.
Anyway, if they cannot go slightly out of their comfort zone and prefer to sit at their desks playing Tetris??? so be it.
As i said i hate dealing with em face to face.
Valid point re the Nigerian aspect.................so, if they were not prepared to check and take it further i cannot be bothered to take it further.
Oh, and i hate loath and detest using any type of phone..........................my loss, maybe.

It's a shame you don't live closer. I'd go in and get the red carpet laid out for you. (I prefer rose petals scattered in front of me, but I'm a girl and I like roses.) I bought my bike over the 'phone and by email. The bike was in Staffordshire, so I sent a friend to have a look for me before I decided to buy. I had no problem with getting replies and it there were no problems to hold up the sale, apart from a one day hold up while they fitted a new set of tyres. They were free, so I wasn't going to complain. It was delivered to my door and I had a 'phone call a couple of days later, to make sure I was happy with everything.
It's a shame the one's you chose to email haven't bothered to get in touch. That's just basic good manners. I don't blame you for not going back.

As stated i bought my Gold Wing via tinternet from HGB. It was so simple, from e-mail to delivery was 3 day's and i never spoke to one person.............the way i like it.
I am thinking now if i do go for one it will be a used one and only from a private seller. However there are very few private sellers and the choice is very limited.
Let's see what transpires.
Oh, BTW, the 3 rd mail i sent was for a BMW.

With you on the phone thing, hate having to use them,
Some companies just don't want your money my parents only ever use the farmstay company for their holidays, recently noticed they've stayed everywhere they like and ran out of options, I tell them there's loads of places not just farmstay, we found a place they liked the dates they wanted, try to book it it's PayPal only, my folks don't do PayPal I says ring them they've got a number, it's a business with a big name and loads of properties surely they can sort something out, three phone calls and two weeks later never heard from them, currently they are in Scotland with someone who was willing to take cash in hand on arrival, and who called them back

I wonder how much business these company's that use this automated shit, "your call will be monitored for training" blah blah nonsense, and if you want the kitchen press 7, if you want to swear press 9 and all that bollocks. Tell ya the world has gone mad.
Anyway, thought i would try one more bike company i have used in the past. Sent the mail bout 8am, it's now gone 3pm no response. Anyone want this £10k i am trying to give away

Me! I'll have it.
I can't understand why nobody has replied to your enquiries. It's really stupid of them not to get right back to you. I wonder how they can afford not to sell a bike when they have the chance. Madness.
