Pissed off

Post by bobsnicholson »

2 days it's taken me to get the radio off AM to FM (it decided to go onto AM by itself)

Now i can't get the thing on the left to go up and down so i can change the amount of fuel left, tyre pressures, and one other. At the mo it's totally useless info on there (the stuff i want has been there b4 but vanished)

Fed up with it.

What bike has the least amount of tech????? Royal Enfield maybe??
Anyone want to do a swop.

Mrs Bob came out with me yesterday on it. She loves it. says it's dead comfy, another reason it's got to go  :D (only kidding)

Technology is so confusing.

One of my visitors changed the radio channel on my really nice downstairs radio I use all the time. That was weeks ago. Nobody has been able to get it back for me. Not even people who actually like technology.

Not quite the same on my other radio which is a cheap plastic wind up model I use during power cuts.

Phone your dealer Bob. I used to take the Street Triple in to have the time done each time the clocks changed :D

I could and should contact the dealer, however i do feel it would be a waste of time. If they sorted the issues (remember it's not broke) and showed me a dozen times, when, not if, it goes off again i wouldn't remember how to put it right, so i think it's a case of live without it.
At least i know how to work the reverse gear

Bob, have you looked for any instructions on YouTube?

They are usually pretty good. I have to look twice a year to change the clocks on the VStrom 😁

The ninja is easy.
The civic does it itself
I leave the Fazer on summer time
If it ain't fun, don't do it

NC, yes I have. But I try to follow them and press the right things but it never seems to work (I think I have weird fingers). On the odd occasions when I do manage to sort it it only last's a few day's then I press something and lose it again and cant remember how to get it back so it's back to square one.
And the instruction manual may as well be rote in Chineese for all i can understand.
My mate came and got the Sat Nav and telephone as far as he could but could not get the sound to come into the helmet set.
On occasions I have got the sound out of the bikes speakers so could hear her or the radio but now it's off, radio is stuck on AM so all in all a technology disaaaarrrrster darling :)

never mind eh, it starts and i can ride it.
