Don't think Stephen Spielberg had anything to do with the directing or producing this film.
God the memories.
My first NEW bike, 1966 a BSA C15. HBA 106D

Brilliant post Bob...... I enjoyed that..... Never got in to the British bike thing as the Japs had well and truly taken over when "I were a lad"..... I can relate to the history and demise though...... Fat Cat's and Complacency..... added to Workers Rights .......probably killed it..... just like the Car and Ship building industry.........

I maintain with the right financial clout and man behind BSA it's one British bike manufacturer that could be as big as Triumph once again.
Don't know who has the rights to the name.

The rights to the BSA name for motorcycles is now owned by Mahindra, who reportedly have intentions of reviving the brand.
Gamo
http://www.gamo.com holds the rights to the BSA name for firearms and air guns (attention Snev).

We all know BSA stands for Birmingham Small Arms. If BSA are under the Mahindra banner there should be a chance i would think (not sure in my life time). It's a massive Indian company, in scale i would say close to Tata who own Land Rover/Jaguar.

Most of mine are pre Gamo days but some are new so Gamo have a big input. Can't fault them though.
