Weather not looking good for the foreseeable future, got a Spain trip on soon, back to UK for awhile then Dubai.
So thinking put the bikes to bed for the winter now.
Have to say last few times iv'e been out on the RT i have loved it. Does so much right. NO bike is perfect don't spose.

Took mine out on Sunday, but forgot to put the lining in my jacket
Hopefully there will be a few sunny hours here and there over winter.
Message me your Spain dates, and we might be able to meet up

I've got out my heated vest for a test ride tomorrow. I will also fit the Barkbuster handguards onto the Kawasaki. No need on the Triumph as that has heated grips, which is rather nice.
I need to get both bikes cleaned and then get the ACF 50 out and get them ready for winter.
I like the idea of not riding in the winter but I don't seem to be able to stop yet. One day maybe

In England it means grit lorries appear like magic and cover the roads with slippery, salty brown stuff. Even when there's no danger of frost.

The last two days they have been spraying the roads with salt brine around here.

Do you use anything to protect your bikes in winter, Tom? I've always used ACF50 to keep them nice and stop the salt corroding everything. I do everything apart from brakes and tyres, even in the switchgear and under the seat.

I have a commuter beater bike (F 800 GT).
