An overnight stop in Lapalisse , Auvergne when we were still four bikes together . (another story for another time)

Rental villa between Orange and Carpentras in the Cote d'Azur. Weather too hot for biking so it had to be beers at the pool.

Tiny village close by had the best car sales forecourt . I didn't ask because I knew I couldn't afford one .

Short ride out , up Mount Ventoux
