Out most of the day yesterday on the RT. Serviced, new tyres, new grommet???(bung)???? it's like a new bike.
The way i was feeling yesterday on the bike when everything went well is i will keep it until i stop riding, or at least until such time it's too heavy to maneuver about.

It's frightening at times going into 1st gear from standstill, how them cogs stay in the casing is a work of German engineering at it's best.

It’s great when it all comes together.

I’m lucky having the Peak District on my doorstep. I just wish I had more time (and money) πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜‰

Took my bike out the shed today to kick the tyres and the usual checks before heading off next week and had to dust the cobwebs off it .
I don’t deserve to own a bike ! 🀭

Shame on you, your saving grace is you cannot ride a bike from 3000 miles away.

I ride a filthy F 800 GT since it is my travel/commuter bike. Got a good washing at the dealer, along with a new rear tyre and head bearings.

Other than a sticky horn switch replaced under warranty, no issues with the bike so far (head bearings are consumables).

I can see I shall have to buff up the Triumph, just so Gareth doesn't show me up. He'll have the excuse that he's just ridden hundreds of miles on his and I only have twentyish to do.

I was going to wash it tomorrow but I have a couple of longer runs to do over the next two weeks. It can wait until I get back. It's getting headstock bearings and new front pads next month, along with it's big service and an MOT. It's the only time I don't mind spending my savings :D
