No, not the shop!
Booked a day off yesterday and met my brother near Penrith. A quick bimble through Keswick and we headed off down some lovely roads.
Mainly, we did Honister Pass.
Do it.
Stunning.

We followed the road past Buttermere, and turned right... up and up...

Took a tiny track to the right, and followed it until we came across a nice spot for lunch

We split up then, and I went down to Windermere, stopping briefly in Ambleside.
Saw a pair of chinooks thudding their way up one of the lakes
, but couldn’t get a photo

Done the Honister some time ago. Due to do it again soon.
I bet we passed each other. I have been in Scotland last couple of days (maybe 2 pictures will follow)
Miles, did about 600 in 2 days, bum mumb.
