Hard to put across in words what some of these places are like.
Look at Simpsons Gap near Alice Springs.
We were there for a couple of hours and absolutley NOBODY but was there.

Looks amazing, I'd love to wild camp there, I guess there are some deadly creatures there ?

Just been Virtually driving along the B100 towards Torquay.... It really does look like parts of the UK, so different from other places you've been.....

Shortest run of the trip today, 47 Ks to Lorne for 2 nights, then 3 nights in Torquay.
Have a look at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat, we finish the road trip there for 3 nights.

Sovereign Hill..... are you staying in the Museum/hotel ? it looks brilliant..... will you be panning for Gold ?.... I just sold my Sovereigns as the price hit an all time high, wouldn't mind having some nuggets off you !!!!

We are staying in the Sovereign Hill Camp site right next door.
Wont pan for gold as it's designed to take the gold off you not give it to you

We are in a place called Torquay at the mo (honest) and it's feezing and pissing down. Bit of a change from not long ago when it was 44c in the outback, (much prefered)
Go to Australia in the summer they said, it will be hot, they said, so we did, and it wasn't...............well here at least it's not.

Our great adventure in the outback ends tomorrow. 11,600Ks, lots of diesel burnt lot's of memories to cherish. Loved every day and K of the trip.

From tomorrow 4 nights in Melbourne to wind down then onto Dubai till March 3rd.

I'm so please for you both.... so jealous too !
