Do you get much wildlife running about in the dark, Tom? Sometimes I think every rabbit in the country is waiting for me after dark. The one I fear most is Badgers. I've seen a car hit one really hard. It killed the badger, but it also looked as if the car might have been a write off. Lots of damage. Deer seem to be getting more common round here, too.

Raccoons, opossums, coyotes, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, toads, turtles, snakes, and turkeys are all commonly found crossing roads.

Oh, that doesn't look good. I have a deer scarer fitted to the car but I've never worked out how to fit one to the bike.
