On the subject of old MCN ers ; for those of you remember him ; I happened to meet FOGIE yesterday in my local town . He's recovering from a nasty bike accident where he was hit by a van . Told him all the good folk ;-) from MCN were on this forum so he may pop in .

That would be nice. I've never met him in real life, but I used to enjoy his posts on MCN.

I'll try and come! Phil said he's happy to do the SuperSausage again, but I'm hoping I can afford to travel where I like, once the move is finally over and done with and my lovely Striple is back on the road again. :)

I had a sit on the RS Striple at Bransons on Friday.........Felt pretty good TBH, nice and compact, very light and a good riding position. I can certainly see the appeal... I'd be up for a SS trip too.......

It is a very light bike, at least people seem to tell me that a lot. I'd have trouble picking up a full shopping bag nowadays, never mind a motor bike :D

Ask them for a test ride. You don't have to buy one. :)

As i was going to Bala on Sunday, i witnessed a BMW having a little lay down on a roundabout. Rider and pillion arms and legs everywhere. Went straight back to help, but it was already upright. With the bars and boxes, those things dont fall down, just tilt!
