Nev, I really am sorry about the Grom. What a disappointment.
I know you have to give them a chance to have a look and see what's happened, but I hope they put it at the very top of their customer service list.
I have only an inkling of what you must feel like. I never actually expect the Street triple to start any more. It's always a surprise when it does and things shouldn't be that way. It's a constant worry and this really is its last chance, but you've spent so much and you started with something that worked properly. Did you cry? I did last time and I wouldn't blame you one bit.

I have visions of a regulated, temperature controlled fancy fungi storage facility somewhere inside the fridge.
Ok, I confess.......

It'll be taken back sometime this week or next..... I was planning a trip with in in the Tranny back to North Devon to visit lots of my old places and cold call a few friends but now I'll probably take the MT and a Tent.............. Thing is though, they have done so much work on the Engine including making lots of bespoke bits, I just can't see how it will become nice again....... Even the power output is a fair bit down over other similarly modded Groms...... some have 30 bhp, this one just the 20.... I was expecting power wheelies and Tyre Spins !!!!! ..... I do hope you get your stripple running again Bee..... It'll be a great feeling to get out and about now the weather is a bit nicer............ Yesterday after filling up the Z, Sammy came in shouting that it was pissing Oil out all over the place..... It was Petrol again, seems like it can't be filled to the brim as it wants to dump it.......... As I went to get some Sand, I had to quickly shout at her not to light her Fag as she was stood in a pocket of fumes.... the look on her face was classic !!!!! and so were her swear words..............
Ok, I confess.......

Spitting out fuel (and coolant) is another Striple speciality. The fuel problem mostly happened on hot days when I'd filled it on the way to work and left it parked in the sun all day.
But at least it's a common thing on Striples, not only mine.
I'm longing for the day I can afford to load it into the race van and take it to be sorted out. Even more, the day I get to collect it.
The house sale is still creeping forward, but I no longer do any planning. It's taken exactly a year so far. :'-(
