It's an Hour away but a pain in the arse to drive, the trouble is I just don't want to get pissy with them as the bike is in bits.... I just want them to do what they said they would..... apparently they are short staffed now as one girl left and two Mech's are Isolating, I'm hoping my email will get a response from the owner...... I'm resigned to having to wait but when I do get it back, I'll post my experiences on the Grom and other bike forums I'm on, plus I'll never return there for any work We would never dream of treating our customers that way, even all phone calls and emails are returned promptly and we bend over backwards to keep every customer informed. On Monday we had a call from the Window cleaning Company to say a chap would be here between 1 and 2 pm, so I had to clean up the outside to allow access...... He turned up at 2pm on Thursday !!!! What is wrong with people ?

The 19 and isolating and all conected has given company's the greatest excuse for their inadequacy's since that 39/45 war thing we had.

I have had to learn stuff about elecktrickery that I never knew, due to my electrician having Covid.
Stuff I sort of knew in theory, but have never had to deal with before.
That nasty moment when you realise you're the only one in the village that's having a power cut and know you're going to have to balance at the top of a very steep, narrow staircase to see if a trip switch has gone off.
And just to make it extra annoying I'd just spent £700 (including a new consumer unti) that I don't really have to get the safety certificate the lying bastard who didn't buy my house wanted
If I ever find out that the electrician didn't have the virus and he just didn't want to come out there'll be tantrums.....

It doesn’t cost anything to keep the customer informed.
Very sorry, but we’re waiting for parts. They are due in 2 weeks.
Sorry, there is a bag log in China, the parts will take a month to arrive.
No confirmation of due date, will keep you informed.
It’s really not difficult.

As i said earlier this 19 has given 2nd class companys and individuals the greatest EXCUSE not to perform. They don't deserve your business.

Would it help if we all tie a few yellow ribbons up?
Will you have to run it in? For goodness sake, don't blow it up as soon as you get it back

Yes, tie the yellow ribbons together then hang the buggers that don't perform.

Was talking to my brother about this last night.
They have a Kymco scooter in, that needs a new front disk. Has to come from Korea. 12 week wait.
The bloke keeps ringing up twice a day.
Frustrating for everyone!
