I keep looking at the forecast and wondering when it is going to warm up.

Been out quite a lot now my MT is fixed but It's pretty good on the warmth front down here, managed a 100 mile trip to and around the Quantocks a few days ago which was great. Off Camping again in a while just the one night again then hopefully a two nighter next weekend followed by 3 nights at Calshot or a campsite in the New Forrest, depending on what's open.

Passed a few camp sites in The Peak District yesterday whilst on the bike. ALL without exception were packed.
Even the pub i stopped at for coffee had 6 vans in the car park. Landlord charges £5 per night with EHU on condition you use the pub for beer/food which i thought fair enough. In a great spot anorl.
Got myself in a couple of situations yesterday whereas if i had not a reverse gear on the bike i would have been in poo street. Thought i either need to get a smaller lighter bike or make sure i keep a bike with reverse, so the Wing isn't going anywhere for a while.
Not going to buy a 2nd bike for awhile

There are lots of pubs that do this, I think there is a Guide somewhere that shows them, it's a great idea, to be honest, I'm not really a fan of organised regimented camp sites that's why we go to Portland at lot, its just like legal wild camping and the view is stunning. the site last week was £18 plus electric, not sure I'd go there again though, tonight it's £10 and we don't need EHU but we could just pull up a bit further on and not pay anything but Sammy doesn't feel as safe. Parking and reversing big heavy bikes is an art mate, I found that it paid to plan ahead just incase you get stuck, which happened a few times over the years.... No Prob with a Grom though !!!! No Pics, too much ball ache !
