A lot of it is not passable with an RV. (I guess that won’t stop a few trying!)bobsnicholson wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:50 am Make sure you have mozzy nets and spray. And the talk is its going to be mega busy. Wouldn't have thought much of an issue on a bike, but a lot of idiot RV and Tuggers will be out and about (no not me)

Re: NC500
I’ve finally bought a satnav for the bike.
Need a child to show me how to use it!
Also bought some throw over panniers. Jess and I can both travel light, but 8 days away will call for more than 2 T-shirt’s !

If i was going with Shirley she would want the full business class allowance of 50Kgs strapped to the back of the bike.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Re: NC500
Headsets have arrived
Never had them before, so should be interesting. Look easy enough to fit.
Tuesday afternoon will be fettling - oil change, and fitting satnav, trying panniers for size and fit.
(I know July is a long way off, but one has to be prepared )

4 hours on the drive today!
Satnav hard wired, all neat and tidy.
Oil changed
(Need new chain and sprockets)
Headset fitted
Short test ride. Connects perfectly. BUT FECK ME IT’S LOUD
Couldn’t turn it down!
Had to come home and re-read the instructions
