Blimey, I remember Tyres before Radials came along.... there were some shockers too..... Avon Road Runners, Pirelli Phantoms some
Dunlop stuff..... they were all pretty bad...... even the Michelin Radials were rubbish, we've come a long way.....

When i were a lad..........we had Teflon Tyers

I fink you lie.....Teflon was invented in the 20th century not the 19th !!!!!

Ed crashed doing the emergency stop on his first test. Blamed the tyres.
(Nothing to do with the man jumping out in front of him, as they did in the olden days)

Went back the next week... examiner said ‘we had one of these Japanese things last week; chap blamed his tyres when he fell off’
