I can't wait until you've tried it and shared with us.

Other people's rides are the only enjoyment I get from bikes at the moment. Also I never get to try anything but the lowest bikes, even on a good year :D

Go Nev!!!

If you still find it a bit dull you can always let the tyres down a bit and enjoy some unpredictable handling :D
I run 1.5 bar front/1.25 bar rear on the Xmoto at the track.

My Rides have been few and far between recently, a combination of problems with both bikes nearly made me lose interest but this will be the answer, actually having a bike I don't have to worry about...... no more dead battery, (The MT is really difficult to bump start ) and no more cramps, aches and pains from trying to mould by old bones into a comfy position on the ZZR. Took the MT down to our workshop yesterday where I'll be working on it over the next few weeks or months if another lockdown comes. Started ordering Bit's for the new bike..... Rad Guard, Tail Tidy and De-cat pipe ....... might change the flip up Screen too as I think it looks a bit naff........ Bob, What didn't you like about your Z ? was it engine, Handling, Reliability of something else ?

You Know Nev it's a weird thing, there was nothing wrong with the bike, in fact it was/is a cracking bike. Thing is i kept comparing it with the CB 1100. Physically the same, characteristics totally different. The CB gave it's power and drive more sedately the Z was like a puppy snappy dog, it was just too lively for me. Also i found 1st and 2nd to low geared.
After i put all the bit's on the Z what a fantastic looking bike. For you young un's  it will well suit (or the one you are getting).
I don't think a test ride would have changed my mind in buying. I listened to the write up's, all good, i looked at it in the showroom, i bought it, simples.

I really like the CB1100 and all the retro looking stuff, including your RS but i'd never really consider buying them if presented with the actual choice....... I have to carefully consider how best to spend my money........ Over the years, I've managed to get hold of some of the most fantastic machines ever produced and If I were a lot better off, I'd have kept them all locked away in a big shed or two but, it's been a really difficult thing to let some of them go...... Busa's, Blackbirds, RSV's...... they have all been amazing...... At this particular time in my life, I'm just wanting to get out and ride without fear of the latest generation of Dashcam arseholes...... so this bike seems to be the latest "Best Fit" ..............

Ditto, i complain there is not enough room at this new house we are in. Maybe it's as well as i would have more cars and bikes.
Are you going to have the test ride on the GS??????? Make sure you ask for one with the low seat conversion...................or take a ladder :D
