How do tyre prices in the US compare with the UK for the average car/truck/bike ? I'm guessing you're not ripped off as much as the British public with the likes of VAT (Value Added Tax) .

Two new Conti Road Attack 3 tires/tyres on the F 800 GT were about $550 (including mounting), while four new General Grabber AT tires/tyres on the Frontier (aka previous generation Navarra) were about $520 with mounting.

How can/do the tyre (tire) manufacturers justify charging more for much much less. mad world.
