Stuff

Post by bobsnicholson »

Wish i could put pics up again.
Anyway, spent a bit of time doing a Bob A clean on the bike yesterday.
Today just as nice but cold so ride i went on.
Went the long way to Arley Hall it being the house they are using for Tom Selbys in Peaky Blinders.
Then went to Tabley House, another local they use for Peaky.
I was so cosy on the bike, only thing cold was my nose, and that was splashing snot all over the place
Really nice run. Finished up at J&S for a cuppa then home.

lol..... a "Bob a Job" day then......... As I get older, I refuse to take my bikes out in all the Shite and Rain..... as cleaning them afterwards is such a chore............ having said that, the MT09 is looking proper salty and I really must get my hose out !!!!! ..... been out and about quite often lately but only short trips as It's Bastard Cold................ Only have one job to look at tomorrow.... it's a worktop Sink and Tap Job that our old Employee has quoted £2500 to do........ It's @ £900 for us to do it..... another job in the bag.............. Greedy Fucker's are everywhere it seems !!!!! :-|
Ok, I confess.......

Oh by the way Nev.
M5 sold.
Don't laugh, bought a Audi TT 45 TFSi 245 Black Edition Convertible.
I wanted a convertible and when HRH saw this she said buy it or else :emb:
Almost new, 3 months old and 1340 miles on.
Give it what for over the weekend. I'm happy, it can shift ok.

I agree about the cold. Several times I've gone out, meaning to unlock the workshop and get the Kawasaki out for a run and feeling too cold to get any further. I sometimes feel I'll never be warm again. I know it's been a mild winter but I've never had to cut back on the heating as much, so I've been feeling it a bit lately.

House viewing tomorrow. A rather uninspiring little bungalow but it has everything on my "must have" list, so if it's as good as the pictures make it seem, I'll be trying to buy it. My sale is still not quite done but my Mum and my Brother like this place enough to open the family vault and get things moving. Very sad to be leaving my lovely cottage but it has to happen, so may as well get on with it. :)

It will be so nice just to amuse myself again and not be constantly fitting in with everyone else's plans. I'll have both bikes back on the road and if nothing else goes wrong I'll be properly back on top again! I like the though of that!
And just maybe there'll be time for a quick ride round and listen to the wonderful sound of the Kawasaki running without a big, rusty hole in it's exhaust :D
