Benasau again

Post by Ninjachica »

Why do we go here?

They do a nice breakfast. Roger always said they did the best coffee. Bob can vouch for the fact that the roads that lead to it are awesome, from every direction.

Bit of a failure today though. Drizzle just after we left town, which turned into proper rain. Eased off a bit around Cocentaina, but roads were still damp. No fun on the bends today. I usually get the exhaust popping.

Got there and it was pretty busy, but managed to get a table.
Then noticed there was a table full of lady bikers. 9 of them, with one chap. They were on all sorts, from harleys to gixxers. Nothing under 600. They were a hoot. Dragged other random chaps into their photos.

They headed back towards the coast when they left. Would have loved to know where they were from.

Cold, damp ride home. Did want to do the valley of the cherries, as they are currently in flower, but gave it a miss, as the cloud was so low.

Ah well. I'll be back here in another 6 weeks or so, and it will be much warmer then.

It's nice to go to places you love and the roads you love to ride on..... shame it rained, it's a washout here for a few days, so frustrating.
Ok, I confess.......

I love re-visiting favourite places. Shame you didn't get any sun though.

I do enjoy an all girl ride out occasionally. There's always an adventure, somewhere along the way. :)

Said it before will say again the roads in that area are some of the best roads i have ridden a bike.
Shame the next time we are in that area it is highly unlikely i will be or have a bike.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Bob, let me know when you are heading over, and hopefully we can meet up in the sunshine (bike or car!)
