Seriously windy here today. Glad we went out yesterday. Kara hates the wind, so kept us up all night.
Yesterday was lovely. Bike felt better than it has for a while. Was thinking it was passed its best, but fell in love with it again yesterday.
Turns out the tyre pressure gauge has gone on the blink. Been riding on low tyres the last few times I've been on it! What a difference. Who knew
Landlord was thrilled to see us, which is always nice. Place was packed. We sat outside to keep away from the rabble.
New phone. Need to figure out how to resize photos
Windy!
Re: Windy!
Bit windy here but very wet and slippy, deffo not riding weather although I would have still be riding if I still had the old MT...... Can't bring myself to ride the new bikes in the weather.... I probably should get a Winter Hack....
Ok, I confess.......
Re: Windy!
Really unpleasant weather here today, but I'm happy with the last of my christmas food and a bottle of wine.
I was thinking, last night, that the lane is really looking pretty good for this time of year but found that whoever was driving the dustcart today didn't like the look of it and ploughed along the verge for the best part of a mile. The mess! I was so enjoying the novelty of a rideable route to the real world.
I've booked a place at the tip for tomorrow so must remember to get up early and load the car up with the last of the junk.
I started Swedish Death Cleaning about a year ago and I'm onto the final cupboard.
I think I must have a whole removal van less posessions then I did a year ago. Empty drawers and cupboards all over the place. I'm pretty pleased with myself for sticking at it and finishing the job.
Now I can save up for more junk and fill them all up again
I hope to get out on the Kawasaki once the weather stops blowing and raining. I deserve a reward! And hoping to get out with Phil and Chris on new years day. Even if it's not good enough for two wheels we usually get together to start the year with lunch somewhere. Hoping for sunshine!

Re: Windy!
I really do need a clearout of stuff too....... the Shed is rammed full of bike bits and Guns, the old shed is in a sad state and there is tons of rubbish in the back garden and Passageway, it's getting motivated that's the problem...... So that must be my New Year's Resolution. The Garage is a mess and full of House stuff, Bikes, Camping gear and leaves and even if I did have the Grom back, it wouldn't fit in there........ Front garden is a mess too and the MH is covered in mud and road crap from the last trip...... Time for a couple of Skips I think !!!! .... there might be a glimmer of hope today for a bit of Biking but I'll have to wait and see how dry the roads are as It's windy but still dark here.....
Ok, I confess.......
Re: Windy!
Wind's much worse this morning but I'm almost ready to set off with another full load of junk. How can so much stuff get into one, small understairs cupboard? O.K, I admit I haven't taken anything out of it for 21 years, apart from the christmas decorations box, but even so!
When I get back I'm going to treat myself to a morning in front of the fire with a jigsaw puzzle and gardening programmes.
The weather can do what it wants for a while. I shall be too busy to notice

Re: Windy!
Jigsaw Puzzles are an old Favourite but I lack enough concentration nowadays ! Been in the shed sorting stuff around and clearing up all the mice debris ...... had 3 of them in there and it took a few weeks to catch and release them.... there were millions of little turds in every conceivable place but no damage so not to bad.......... will be sorting out Puk in a bit as we will be spending NYE far from the madding crowd, probably up on Portland again which is a great place to watch all the fireworks...
Ok, I confess.......
