Anyone know what other bikes than Honda have a DCT gearbox (automatic) AND a reverse gear?

I recall some sort of small Aprilia had auto gears, but I wouldn't expect such a lightweight to have reverse.

On a big heavy bike i have found the reverse so helpful. As long as the bike is safe to reverse in or out is soooo easy.
On a lighter bike it would not be that necessary.
As for the DCT not having to use a clutch if one has joint issues (i do) is also a massive benefit.
Gone are the day's when racing starts, dropping down a couple of cogs etc were the norm (although you can do that on a DCT if it has a M mode).
Looking out of interest more than anything.
Look's like Honda might have the monopoly...............why?

Not sure any other bike has that combination apart from the BMW K1600 GT ? Bob but a Quick Shifter is available on lots of new bikes.... My Z has a really light clutch and I rarely use it on upshifts, most bikes are fine with clutch less up shifts.... but a Quick shifter is better as most offer the downshift option....

I rarely use my clutch to up shift.
Was chatting with some random chap about it recently, and he had no idea that was a thing.
He was convinced it would wreck the bike.

I talk to many riders who think that A. It's not possible and B, It will seriously harm the gear box lol....... Been doing it for 40 odd years now with no probs whatsoever....... Clutchless up changes are pretty much as fast as the Quick shift stuff that people are now raving about....... I do wonder just how dim new riders are nowadays.... It's like they can't think for themselves without some App Implant.........

It was quite funny.
He wanted to believe me, but I was a woman, so he wasn’t convinced.
Then he looked at the Fazer and asked for more details.

Then my mate (female) on her blade nodded and agreed.

I suspect he might have tried it later.

I would guess that 80% of my upshifts are clutchless.

I remember having a chat with a couple of non riders who were adamant that I was talking rubbish, then I told them how fast my FJ1200 was and they both said but you can't ride that fast on uk roads as they are not long enough...... the thing was they just didn't get the acceleration thing as they were comparing it to there ford Escorts ! It's tough trying to explain Bikes to some folk.

Yes. I do them too. Not all the time, but usually just because I can. I have the lightest of clutches though, so even with my crunchy, bendy fingers I find it fairly comfortable.
Not quite so easy on the Kawasaki, but Voltarol gel is pretty good once I get home.
