In theory i suppose yes we could. Going to give it til 7/8th ish March then have another look. Hoping UAE will be off the red list by then so flights will be back on to Manchester.
It's no hardship here. To go to Germany for a couple of weeks don;t sound that appealing.

Still not seen a drop of rain since arriving midnight Xmas day.

Ice all gone now and today is the first time the road has dried properly.

Started the Kawasaki (first push of the button. Yay!). I'd already checked oil, tyres, fuel etc, but the wind is so strong I had trouble even getting the shed door open and I was knackered after getting all dressed up to go for a ride :'-(

Decided it was so nice and warm and sheltered in the shed that I could just enjoy sitting in my new going racing chair and listening to music and watching birds fly past backwards.

There's always tomorrow, according to the forecast :)

If you do not like the weather in Iowa, wait until tomorrow when it will be different.

Nothing quite like running past the ton on a bike to get away from a funnel cloud.
