Feck me, I’ve finally cracked it.
Top box - too big
Rucksack - pain in the neck
Bum bag - pain in the butt
Pockets - too bulky
So where do I put my purse, glasses, hairbrush?
The Fazer now has a ‘sport’ tank lock bag. I think it’s 7 ltrs.
Bleddy perfik.
Doesn’t get in the way at all. Bike doesn’t appear to have a house balanced on the back. I’ve got nothing on me (bar my phone), and it has a strap for when I get where I’m going.
Simple click on and off. Bleddy marvlusss.
And it expands enough to fit 10 doughnuts in Result.
Feck me, I’m right chuffed.

Used to tour a lot on the ninja. Got a tank bag for it. It’s still in the bag 12 years later!
This is just soooo easy.

The big one is ok, and will be useful for touring, but this is Bob-on for day trips.

Ok, I confess.......
Re: Dogs goolies
I've got a nice compact Magnetic one, which was great if you have a metal tank ! Mostly though it's a rucksack as I tend to take all my Kitchen Brochures and samples with me on most trips and there's still enough space for my Beer.

I can't eat on a empty stomach so never needed to carry any.

Doughnuts were for a mate.
I’m keeping him sweet ready to ask him to do my oil change in February

Re: Dogs goolies
I need to carry some clothes, shoes,12 rock buns and a sleeping bag on the Kawasaki tomorrow.
I'll be using a roll bag across the back of the seat and a rucksack. I love my rucksack for soft stuff.
Both my bikes have quite small tanks so I only use the tank bag if I need full camping kit for a few days. I thought about one with a tank ring but I don't think I'd use it much.
I have several friends who wouldn't be without, now they've tried them.

For a wearable bag, I prefer this (plus it might survive a nuclear explosion).
