Chilly this morning. Thermal socks, vest, woolly jumper, winter lining...
Went the back way and got caught up with another group of riders. 6 ahead of us, another 6 behind! Hopped on to the motorway and went straight into a load of cloud! Hate riding in fog. The others turned off for Muro, but we carried on for 2 junctions, then took the bendy road .
Got to a junction near Alcoy and heard a beep behind me. Ed’s light had come on. It was 3°. Yup. Frost at the side of the road.
Carried on, and just before Benasau, the first of the other bikes passed us . They carried on, as we pulled into the café.
Blimey it was busy. Managed to get a table, but shortly after, everyone had to wait to sit down. Even outside was busy.
Normal breakfast while it warmed up, to about 10°.
Was going to go home via Beniarrés, but it was still cloaked in cloud. Might leave this motorcycling lark until lunchtime...

Re: Benasau
It's warmer here! I took the Street Triple out. First run for ages as the lane's been under water for several weeks. There are pot holes and stuff hiding under water so I just don't risk it on the Street. The Kawasaki's not so precious to me so that gets out more often at this time of year.
Lovely day for a ride and I didn't bother with the extra winter kit as I only did 40 miles. Roads have dried nicely, apart from the lane, and my favourite winter bends were most enjoyable. I arrived back a little chilly but not properly cold. Nothing a nice mug of Bovril couldn't cure.
Another good day forecast tomorrow. I may get the heated vest out and take myself out to lunch

I did not ride today, since we have freezing rain putting a layer of ice over everything.
