Wont mean much to you but it's on the D63 that runs from Sheik Zayed Road at the side of Mall of the Emirates.
It's about 2 Ks up the D63 from SZR on the left.

Continue up the D63 (known further up as The Al Qudra Rd) for about 20Ks, turn right at Last Exit (name of an area with coffee and fast food places, not Last Exit as we know it), go another 10 ish Ks and you arrive at
Bab Al Shams (gateway to the sun) Hotel....lovely place, IMO.

PS, say hi to Adam & V if you bump into them, V is the one with the big belly

We’re staying in the Dream Inn Appartments (next to the Sofitel).

Done the motorcycle mall, the Khalifa, the aquarium.

And now I don’t care if I never walk anywhere again. And this is day one

We are downtown, next to the place with a ‘boat’ on top (like in Singapore)

The only one i can think of like Singapore is on the SZR and wasn't finished in March when we left.????
