Hard to see (need one of those fiber optic probes), but on the info plate on the head tube of my F 800 GT it says not to exceed 100 mph with hard bags attached.

I remember a good few years ago the police here stopped using the Honda Pan European's as it was proven to be unstable over xx mph due to the built in top box and panniers (mainly top box)
Work is for people that can't play golf.

My Yam has one of them speed restrictions when fully loaded with luggage , totally ignored it when going down the autobahn and the only problem I encountered was from SWMBO sitting pillion . :D :D :D

So, as a test today SOMEONE took my Z up to 95/100 mph :shock: . They told me it was as stable as a rock with the box on. They took the box off to see if there was any difference at the same speed, no, exactly the same.

Moral. people who throw stones should look before they leap :lol:
