Chilly willy

Post by Ninjachica »

Went out for a couple of hours earlier. By heck it were cold, and fecking windy ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Bob, photo is for you! Tittesworth reservoir in the background.

I was only going to do the Staffordshire moors, but ended up doing the Peak District too ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Stupid stupid pheasants. Thought I was going to have a horrible clean up to do, but just missed the stupid thing! I think her tail feathers are a bit shorter than they were. ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Took a different route home, which I will definitely be repeating ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Bright but very windy here so tackled learning to prime and set the flow rate on my Scottoiler. I let it run out during the hot weather last year as I couldn't slow it down enough. Since then I've just used chain lube but as I can't get the seat off the Triumph without help, which I kept forgetting to ask for, it's had to wait until now to be sorted out.

I got in an awful mess as my feeble wrists and fingers made it hard to take things apart and put back together, but I think I've managed to get it right. I'm hoping for a quieter day tomorrow so I can take it out and make sure all is as it should be.

I almost got a few pheasants while returning from a meeting in BFE - was doing about the ton on county highways (met 5 oncoming vehicles in 40+ miles).

Still trying to fit a Scottoiler to my F 800 GT. ๐Ÿ›’

If you need to get the seat off the Stripple, just let Jack Miller take it for a ride.

I think I prefer my method of asking nicely :) Much better for the paintwork.
