Went through Matlock Bath today, never seen so many bikes!
Too many to find a place to park, let alone stop and queue for a cup of tea!
Sadly, one rider down on the way in. Didn’t look very clever .

ditto that in Cornwall/Plymouth today, I rode up to Cap'n Jaspers had the pee taken by some Royal Marines bikers association for my 'crabfat' badge in the best possible way lol ! a good bunch I would like to bump into them at a RTTW one day. Loads of bikes there also at the 'Route 38' and at the Chequered Flag, lots on the road up and back but I did have the A374 almost to myself coming home via the Torpoint ferry shame about the few cars bimbling at 40 in a 60 ! got past them in quick order though. I was 'brake checked' by an idiot in the outside lane on a duelled part of the A30 at 70 ish when the fool wanted a junction when he realised he was 50 yrds from it ! BRAKE ! indicate, cut up the two cars he'd just past --- ooh where did that bike come from and why was he so pissed off at me for braking so hard --- they're out there ! no photos, I was too occupied talking with the 'Real Marines !

In and around Chester is obviously biker territory....Yippee. So looking forward to exploring the area on the bike.
