Hungry?

Post by Ninjachica »

Went out last Sunday with Paco and Carlos, way out past Valencia.

Apparently they do a good breakfast sandwich...

Paco outdid himself and actually ate the whole thing!

Carlos left a bit. It actually beat him!

Ed and I only ordered a 1/2 one.
Chicken bacon cheese salad... very tast, done on a big bbq.

With drinks (cokes, coffees etc) it came to €26 in total.

I didn’t feel peckish again for 6 hours 🤣😁🤣

Turned off on the way back, and went past Ricardo Tormo circuit. Mystery tour again...

Then I started worrying about fuel. Knew Ed would be ok. Figured Paco would too. But was sure Carlos would need some. After miles of interesting back roads, Carlos found a petrol station 👍.

Instead of heading home, we went all ways... stopped at some lights, and I looked across at Ed, and started singing “magical mystery tour “ One of the few times I wanted an intercom 🤣🤣

I’m sure he’s glad we don’t have one 😆

Could have gone to Jerez for some sherry.

Would have had to get someone to feed the dogs - it’s a bit of a trek👍😁

I have done longer rides than that in a day when I have had things that needed to be hand delivered. And worse scenery too - southern Iowa, NW Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

Would happily do that sort of trip Piggles, but need to plan it a bit (not just expecting a morning run out with brekkie!)

It's the only drawback with pets. You need a bit of forward planning. I'm not getting another dog until I have to give up riding bikes and then I'd like another black Labrador. I'll have plenty of time to take care of it once I have to stop. The cat has a shed with a cat door and raised platforms so he can choose which one to sleep on if I'm away for a few nights. I usually have a queue of people who want to stay and take care of him and all the birds in exchange for a country cottage holiday, which is very useful when I want to be away for a few days. :)

I would love a dog. Cats don't do it for me although my son has two crazy ones, Jadis and Fatty. And you know my other son had a cat called DOG.
I could NOT have a dog as even when we do spend more time at home a dog has to have lot's of exercise (unless it's a daft toy one like shitsu). Whilst the dog is being exercised/walked it will at some time do a poo. There is no way on earth i could pick that poo up. When i see others start to squat i turn away, i sometimes almost throw up.
Other peoples dogs i pet and play with and love, but my own, sorry.
Black Lab, lovely.
Work is for people that can't play golf.
