So, the other week, Ed borrowed my bike (yes, he’s insured).
On Sunday there was something off, but I couldn’t figure out what. Get to Ondara, and he asks how the back brake was. I hadn’t used it. Apparently he adjusted it for me.
Go to set off home, and I realise the seat looks odd. Have you had the seat off? Yes, to jump start mine. Hmmm not fitted right. Get out spanner’s and refit seat.
Nearly home, downhill entry to roundabout, finally use back brake. wtf. Totally different.
I think I might take the keys back with me

Re: Leave it!
Sounds as if there's a man who needs one of those fancy new power packs to start his bike with. Phil was telling me about them today as it would save me trying to carry a bike battery round the beehives to power my oxalic acid vaporiser, but their real purpose is for jump starting things. Smaller, cheaper and lighter then a battery, apparently.
Hide the keys, but try to remember where you put them. I know I'd forget

I’ve seen those jump starty things. Very efficient.
We’ve got enough vehicles to find one to jump off, but that might be an idea...

All those vehicles and still he chooses your bike, for convenience .

Yep! The bikes are next to each other, but the car is parked on a different level - he would have had to move it

I bought one of those jump starter things. Because we had to park the cars on a strangers drive i could not get a trickle charge on them. (remember we were tramps last year, no house). Anyway, the jump starter thing did not have the power to start the ruddy big V8 in the M5. I have since learnt one CAN buy them that WILL start a ruddy big V8.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Mine will easily turn over the old 3.3L V-6 used in the Nissan Navarra.bobsnicholson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:18 am I bought one of those jump starter things.
