I went to Cocentaina fair yesterday, and bought a new bike jacket.
Might go back tomorrow and get one for the UK too !

Re: Hibernation
I tried to hibernate, but failed. The sun came out again and out I went to enjoy the heavily salted roads. So much that there are already dangerously big heaps of it in the centre of all the best bends so I took to the back lanes, which were equally slippery with mud and frost in the shady places. I wish I could put the bikes away for winter but I just can't do it. Lucky I still have all my good winter kit to wear. My new Moto Girl heavy winter leggings are so snuggly and warm. What I'd really like is a heated vest. I bought one for John last year. He spent years laughing at people who wear them but it only took one ride and he was completely converted. I tried it myself, but it was far too big so I sold it to Phil, who seems to like it. I watch ebay all the time, hoping for a small size at a reasonable price. It's the only thing I'd really like to make winter riding more comfortable. I'd like heated gloves too, but nobody makes them small enough. Heated grips are good on the Street Triple and I'm looking for a pair of hand guards for the Kawasaki. I've never tried them but I'm told they keep some of the chill away.
The sun is out again today so I might go and hang out at the Strand in Rye and see how many other lunatics come out to play with bikes.

Re: Hibernation
If i were in the UK over the winter period i suppose i would keep the bike ready to take the opportunity to ride on the dry day's.
We are in London for next weekend (45 years anniversary), Scotland the weekend after then we leave UK on 28th so i thought hibernate the bike now whilst i have time and don't have to rush things.
I am hoping next spring/summer will be equally as good as this year, it's been great.
Enjoy your riding and stay safe all.

Re: Hibernation
I am so glad I eventually got to meet you, Bob. Hopefully next time I'll have more time to sit down for a proper chat. Come back soon and remember, now I can find my way around the country I can travel a bit further to meet up. Something for me to look forward to for next year

Re: Hibernation
I am sure we will meet up again next year and under better circumstances.
But please, can you work your magic and not so much rain.
