Three in one

Really good day today.

It was our village’s turn for the bike event. We don’t do a matinal, we have an antique bike ride out instead.

Just before 9, every one started turning up, and they set off at 10, for a ride out and breakfast. Not my thing, as it’s about 20 mph, then a noisy snack!

Loads of Vespas and loads of other bikes. Pretty good show.

Once they had set off on the ride out (with break-down truck and ambulance in attendance), we set off for Alzira, as there was a matinal on there.

One minor missed turn and we got there. Excellent sausage sandwich, with crisps, peanuts and olives. Also a drink and a t-shirt.

The live band were brilliant. Even the disco was good. We sat in plastic chairs and watched the ride out set off, then mooched around the stalls while it was quiet.

We then realised we were very close to La Ribera circuit, so off we went.

Sadly, I was lead bike and had no idea which road it was on! I knew it was close, but I think we did an extra 10 miles!

Finally found it and was very impressed. They do the Spanish championship here and I could see why. Flat circuit, but loads of curves. Very quick.

Awesome looking lunch which we didn’t partake of!

We will be back, when there is a proper race on, rather than just a track day.
