What's going dan inda hood ?

Post by Snev »

Just popped in to see what's happening on here...…… Not much by all accounts. Not on the BFO anymore just FB main site and a load of Private sites related to Bikes and stuff..... Been in my shed fiddling with my bits for a few weeks and my little moped project has kept me entertained...… The Frame has been sent off for Blasting and Painting, I'm opting for a 2 Pack paint on an Etching Primer rather than Powder Coating..... can't wait to get It back and start the Rebuild...…. I've also been buying a whole bunch of old Airguns and that's been pretty interesting too...…… The Shed is pretty much finished apart from some guttering and the Pool Table area has just got to be finished off...…. Our Son has been playing Pool all the time and He's actually started to play really well so It's been a great Investment. We all Play It and he gets a fair few of his mates around too. all my bikes, apart from the MT09 are Sorned at the moment and the MT Is buried in our Workshop surrounded by Kitchens and stuff, so I won't be riding It any Time Soon...….. I'll try and post some Pics...…… Hope you are all well..... Snev. XXXXX Image
Ok, I confess.......

Alright Nev ,
We're all playing along on here quite nicely , so with only the few on here and no arguements , it tends to get a bit quiet. Ninja and Bob basically keeping the posts ticking over as they have interesting lives and actually ride they're bikes . ;-)
I've had to work for a living recently so it's been a case of having a quick look in as and when . Not that I'm counting down the days but come Sunday , I'm off to tour Spain and Portugal so I'll generally be M.I.A. for two weeks . Probaly attempt to throw some photos on here once I return .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Hi Nev, nice to hear from you again.
Yes it is quiet on here most of the time. Almost like at home, you know, talking to yourself.
Anyway, did you read the post's of NC and i doing the Hardknot Pass??? (different times).
Bit of a challenge but thoroughly enjoyed it. I did have walkabouts around the Roman Fort. AND for your info i did NOT put my foot down at all other than when stopped to take in the views and photos. Heard tell the fort will will be a McDonald's next year :-p
Like CC we are off to Spain on 21st for 10 day's, bit of bizz to sort. (unlike CC we are going in the M5 not bike).
Anyway i didn't get where i am today gossiping on social media so must dash and see if i can find "the next big thing".
Keep popping in.

Could do with a few more on here, but it’s ticking over.

Keep posting Snev, it doesn’t have to be about bikes 😄

I'm still here and still failing at posting pictures. Maybe one day the magic will happen and I will make it work. I am not planning to attempt the Hardknott pass, but I have been using the Striple to ride some off road tracks in the New Forest. Great fun and nice having a crowd of big strong men to pick the bike up if there had been a mishap. I only chickened out once when I was in front and came to a sudden stop on a gravel road when the front wheel sunk too deep to move any further. At least it kept itself upright and I didn't topple over :D My mates soon had it pulled out and turned round the way we came as nobody else fancied a go at getting stuck. Quite an adventure for an old girl like me and being supplied with lots of Prosecco every evening was quite an adventure for me, too.
