Clear the air.

Post by bobsnicholson »

After a shit couple of weeks i woke, looked out of the window and saw frost and a lovely blue sky and sunshine.
I thought bike ride.
Not been on the bike since i got back from Switzerland.
So at 9.30 i got togged up (PITA doing it) and set off no idea where.
Instincts took me towards Buxton.
Monsal Head first stop
Bakewell next....again.
I just kept going making sure i didn't go on any daft motorways.
Stopped for lunch in a roadside cabin type cafe that i could sit inside to get warm. Loverly full english was consumed.
Anyways thought it's 3pm better head back, sat nav now on i got home just b4 5pm.
I was nice and warm, proper cloathing see, And of course this bike has the best weather protection you could wish for, i would even say better than the Wing.
A fantastic ride.
But my god how shitty is the bike that i now have to clean,,,,,,,,,i hadn't cleaned it from getting back so it was doubly dirty, never had a bike so bad.
The ride cleared my head and i was now ready for the next shit show.
Ride and be safe all.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

Glad you had a good ride.
There's often a few good days in the winter months.

But yes, filthy bike is the price to pay 😁
If it ain't fun, don't do it
