Bob.... congrats on the new bike... commiserations on getting a flat but at least you have a lower seat !!!! :D

Took the Tuono to the shop yesterday to get my Beer and the battery died.... no phone, a long walk up a steep hill and two trips to get the battery out, charge it and re-fit.... bloody bikes !!!
Ok, I confess.......

I have Home Start with the AA

They did a good job of sorting my flat out, albeit i had to pay for a new tyre. They did the running around and fitting.

My intention was to make every effort to get there this time (subject to it not persisting down).
I do still have the X-ADV but i have a couple of people that are supposed to be looking at it to buy so don't want to risk having a mishap, and another clean of course. And me and my bad luck it would happen, for god's sake i'm so unlucky i had a rocking horse and it died. :D

Tyre fixed yesterday,
Tinterweb were asking £180 to £190 to buy. I would then have to ponce about trying to get it fitted,
So.......took it to BMW Motorrad Manchester, Williams. 2 coffees, 1 diet coke, 3 biscuits, bit of cake, 1 new Conti tyre supplied and fitted, £184.40p result.
The BMW rescue van came to my house to plug the tyre so i could ride it to Manchester.
3 years rescue with the bike anywhere in Europe. Nice to have peace of mind.

4,400Ks total on my little drive to Poland. Love it.

:D
Don't care what anybody says (read CC  :D ) these modern day scoots like the T-Max, X-ADV etc etc are a hoot.
The fun i've had on mine (just sold today) embarrassing lot's of supposedly cool street bikes, pah, dream on.
Anyway my new BMW R12 looks the bizz and goes well...............it will do, for now.
