No more "Gixer Thou"

Post by Snev »

It's being discontinued apparently, not that i had one but just thought it might be of interest...... not going to NEC this year as there doesn't seem to be any new bikes so not bothered to waste the money ......£22 ticket ! All prices seem to be getting silly including the bikes, even a special edition Triumph 765 Street Triple is £14,500 :-o :-o :-o
Ok, I confess.......

I've not paid to get in for years! Managed to get tickets via kawasaki in the past.

Won't go this year anyway, i recon alternative years is often enough.

Last bike show i went to was at Alicante airport. Must be 15 years ago now. No intention of going to any in the near future either.

I've been to various Car and Bike shows over the years but most are in London, Birmingham or Stafford, they are all a pain in the arse to get too and a fair way to travel from Somerset. Don't get me wrong, It's not huge miles but as I get older I find these trips to be a bit tiresome what with all the roadworks, traffic and charges, especially London. Might go to the Local Classic Bike show at Shepton Mallet though.... it's not too far and there is a great farm shop on the way.
Ok, I confess.......

That's where Ed put down his €100 euros on the strom.

There was one at Valencia last weekend, but we didn't bother.
