Autumn holidays (but on a smaller scale)

Post by CantCorner »

3rd of September , ride a full 25 miles to Fishguard , jump on a ferry to Ireland and ride to Waterford for first night . Ride to Killarney for a three night stop and do the Ring of Kerry and other touristy stuff . On to Galway for two nights and then an overnight in Kilkenny on the way back to Rosslare for a ferry home on the 10th September.

Not quite as impressive as Bobs' jaunt but hey-ho . :D
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

That's handy living so close to Fishguard.... watch out for Moby Dick !.. Only been to Ireland once, had to fit out a showroom in Dublin but did get to sample some proper Guiness in Temple Bars....... Hope the weather holds up.....
Ok, I confess.......

I did Holyhead to Dublin, which was really stupid, as i went via York to pick up my daughter, and we were doing the Giants Causeway!

Stranraer would have been much more sensible!

Need to plan something more adventurous for next year.
If it ain't fun, don't do it
