Out this morning

Post by Snev »

Thought I'd get up and go for a ride around the town to see what new shops there are and what ones have closed... can't remember the last time i actually walked around the town centre... lots of empty ones and lots of new ones with foreign names!!! then i went for a ride out in the country lanes and did an almost full circuit around town with a couple of tracks and a bridleway......... got home about an hour later and still had 51% battery life........ God I'm loving this little bike, haven't even touched my others and I've managed to do everything including work and home visits plus going off road and to places I'd never be able to walk to....... `Only Mods so far ?..... A tail Tidy and snipping the wire to derestrict it..... A mate just paid £6500 for a battery assisted Mountain bike but its restricted to 15mph and he still has to pedal makes my 50mph bike look like a bargain and ~It's just such a laugh even on steep hills it doesn't really slow down..... even bought myself a new Lid...... :D

It's not quiet when underway, it makes some noise so most people on foot can hear it coming so it's not too bad in that respect and the best bit is how well it accelerates off the line, you really can leave most cars behind especially in town traffic... It's faster than any Pushbike even battery ones so pretty much ideal for filtering and just popping to the shops. Only got one Kitchen to look at today so I'll be off looking for some tracks after......Bee, I think you would love it
Ok, I confess.......

Your Bus pass has a far better range though....... Currently sat in PUK waiting for the battery to charge........ thinking of a reason to go out again...... infact tonight I'll be sleeping here avoiding the usual farting and snoring !!!! just so I can go out at 5 AM in the morning ......Was told earlier in a serious tone that the Z900 had to be sold to pay for the Tranny so I'm a little bit sulky............ then again, my secret stash of coins has built up to almost Busa levels now..... It's been a whole 8 years since I had one !!!! ...... 8 bloody years..... where did that go ?

I had a coin pot. I hid it in my locker at work and put all my cigarette money in every week after I stopped smoking. 3 years later I had enough to part X my Harley and BMW and pay the balance on my first Street Triple :D
John's face was a picture. Half of him was pleased that I'd managed to buy my own new bike and the other half was wondering how he hadn't managed to find it and spend it first :)

Never, ever let anyone find your secret hiding place.

I have 2x1 gallon whisky bottles that i put £2 coins in one and £1 coins in the other.
The £1 bottle is half full (or half empty depending on how you look at life) the £2 coin jar i think the coins are just about coving the bottom, so it's going to be awhile before that one is full.
I kid myself they are my Bentley Bottles.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

I used to have a jar for coins but being a tight git I only had copper coins in it .
Cashed it in and we’ll chuffed with my £2:63.
😂😂
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Those £2 coins seem to be few and far between.

We have a coppers pot in Spain. In Carrefour they have a machine you can tip it in, then it gives you a special slip you can spend there.

Tienes muchos monedas.

Very handy for the Christmas blow out.
If it ain't fun, don't do it
